Family Guy killing Bryan Griffin is actually a lot smarter than you thought it was.

I Usually hate this formatting of title but since I KNOW for a fact you remember Bryan Griffin DYING and I know you MOST LIKELY didnt watch family guy just to reaffirm- I absolutely have earned this right.

I do today as I usually do, passively watching family guy while doing chores because as long as I CONTROL the common denominators in my life, improvement will come naturally.

Anywhosies-  Watching family guy I came to the episode where Bryan dies, it's popularly known as the lamest thing that the writers of that show have done to stir up viewers that they haven't gone out of their way to cover up. Bryan is in the same episode, replaced by Vinny the dog voiced by Tony Sirico, AKA The Cutie Patootie from the Sopranos.

This Stunt, on top of being unnecessary to the overall story, doesn't even get to spark unique episode ideas aside from the one of the concept itself- as in, Vinny does not affect or change any of the episodes that he includes himself in, the episodes remain unchanged.

Speaking of episodes,  I always remember this being like a couple season long thing?? Nah apparently not, it was 3 EPISODES LONG!!!! They killed Bryan for 3 EPISODES and that's only if you count the episode where he DIES and the episode where he was BROUGHT back to life!

So yeah, Family guy didnt even kill off a main character for more than 1 full episode. So why call this stunt smarter than you thought? The episode where they kill Bryan, Stewie turns a cut away gag where he mentions that he’d only ever really use his time machine for getting a new toy from the toy store the day it comes out.

Stewie then throws away his time machine, which he could have easily used to save bryan.

So 3 Episodes later, this same cut away comes back as the way that stewie has a way to get access to a time machine and save bryan.

So yeah… Then killing bryan was smart because they planned  it a few episodes in advance? Nope! Because that was the only thing that impressed me 4 minutes ago when I started writing this article- and now I just kinda feel stupid for even pursuing family guy for content when there's a lot more interesting things out there to talk about. Like Gas is back all the way down to $3.29 again! And… I just got done making my bed at  12 pm!

I’m out of vaguely family guy inspired self banter now.

Good bye.
