NOnna’s

Nonna’s, starring Vince Vaughn, is a true story about a man who misses his mom. For a movie with such a sad sentence -long premise, it's a nonstop heartwarming movie. For every gram of grief, there's an ounce of familiarity, and home, and as much as it applies to the film, it applies to the restaurant just as much, even if you're not a disgusting Eye-Talian.
Vince Vaughn is a hardworking guy from an Italian family, so half of what he thinks about is Sunday dinner, especially after his mother passed. He wants the recipes back, yet all he has is inheritance. So he does what anyone would do, start a restaurant and only hire elderly women.
Its pacing is a little weird, it's hard to tell how much time has passed yet somehow that doesn't affect the movie all that much. The chemistry between all the characters turns a very sappy movie into a happy movie.
Throughout my life I call mine, I've realized that the movies I like the most, are the ones where I can trust the characters the most. Everybody does right by those that they should, just because of family. Powerful.
It's a very wholesome movie that won't disappoint, and it may bring up memories that you forgot you even cherished. A tale as old as time, food bringing people together like family.
Also, I think I realized I like hot grannies. I've watched like 3 movies this month with hot grannies in it. I didn't know they existed but they do. Thanks Netflix.
